In order to protect the active and complex formula contained in Morning & Night, we use a robust casing to ensure the ingredients and nutrients do not degrade. Currently, the strongest, natural hermetic receptacle is bovine gelatin, which ensures we do not need to use preservatives. Bovine gelatin is animal collagen, which offers nutritional benefits and melts easily in the stomach, releasing the ingredients inside. We will continue to look for vegan alternatives, but at present, they are too fragile to house the formula.
